Thought I would share some photos of a vacation rental property on Salt Spring Island that I recently completed. Thanks to the economic downturn, this project was finally completed nearly 4 years after I started working on it. The scope included space planning and coordination with the architect, finishes selection and specification, fixture selection and specification, furniture, decor and turn key package selection, supply and set up. It was a fun project to work on because I got to see if from beginning to end.

Because of it’s proximity to the beach (right across the road from Ganges Harbour) the developer wanted the interiors to have some oceanic influence. The architecture is very westcoast contemporary so I wanted to make sure we embraced that while keeping the client happy. The result is a modern rustic design with beachy and nautical elements in the forms of colour, commissioned artwork and accessories.
